Join Art and Design Instructor Shane Prine to explore an alternative approach to photography that is not strictly digital but not traditional darkroom photography.

The cyanotype process, developed in the 1800s, is relatively simple in its nearly fail-safe technique and chemistry. It is very likely that you will make a successful print within a short time. 

In this three-day workshop, we will begin with a little history to show you where this process came from, including introducing you to the first female photographer, Anna Watkins. You will learn about preparing digital negatives as well as cyanotype chemistry (how to prepare and use it as a UV light-sensitized solution). 

All materials are included in this cost of this workshop. Bring up to four of your favorite digital images on the first day of class.
