Discover the great monuments and memorials of Washington, DC, one of only three planned capital cities in the world. In addition to exploring the famous monuments of Washington, DC, students will explore:

  • What makes a person or movement worthy of memorializing?
  • How do we decide which parts of history are important and when do we make mistakes?
  • What pieces of history are missing that should be recognized?
