Suffragettes, those who fought for women's voting rights, First Ladies, artists, community activists, and countless others have influenced culture, politics, and the social fabric of this city.
Instructor
Rebecca Grawl, author of 11 Places in Women's History in Washington, DC That You Must Not Miss, is an educator and world traveler who has worked in public history and museum education for more than a decade. A graduate of Randolph-Macon Woman's College with a BA in American Culture, Rebecca has served on the Board of Management of the National Woman's Party and as a National Chair for the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites for taking this course.
Cost and Credits
Each class carries 36 educational hours, or 3 credits for the purposes of the J-1 visa. Students should always check with their counselor or agency when signing up for classes.
