Announcement: April 14, 2020:
In order to reflect CUNY's decision to hold distance-learning courses through the summer, Learning Across America will be continuing in an online format through June 30, 2020. Any classes posted through June 30, 2020 will not be held in person or on location. Online courses will be held for the same number of credits as our in-person option. Please email us with questions at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Washington, DC: All in One
DC All in One covers the broader history and well-known monuments and attractions in Washington, DC, as well as more in-depth and unknown treasures. You will be guided by Andrea Seiger, author of "111 Places in Washington That You Must Not Miss."
Updated Course Information WS20:
Learning Across America has moved all courses through June 30, 2020 to a live online format due to COVID-19. Using this format, students can still attend class from their laptop, tablet, or smartphone at the convenience of their own home. We understand the disappointment of not being able to visit the city of your study, but our Learning Across America teachers have worked very hard to make the curriculum engaging and rich in this new format, and students have been responding very positively!
Your credit hours will remain unaffected. Once you have successfully completed the course and submitted your final project, you will receive a CERTIFICATE via email stating you have earned CREDIT for 72 hours or 7.2 CEUs (Continuing Education Units).
Course Price: $500
Since we are moving to an online format, your full tuition is now $500.

Class meets online
Thursday: 9–12pm & 6pm–8pm
Friday: 9am–12pm & 5:30pm–7:30pm
Saturday: 9am–12pm & 5:30pm–7:30pm
Your course will consist of a pre-assignment, independent coursework and final assignment as well as live online class sessions with your teacher/other au pairs at the times listed.
Please note that your pre-assignment will be emailed to you one week before your first online class session. You will receive details on how to log-in to your online class sessions one day before the start of the course.
Once the final online class session has concluded, you will have two weeks to submit your independent coursework and final assignment to your teacher.
Students are required to be present during all live online class sessions. However, your independent coursework can be completed at your leisure before the deadline two weeks after your online class ends. We wanted to create flexibility in completion as we know many au pairs now have increased work hours due to COVID-19.
If you have any questions at this time, please email us at email@example.com. Please continue to stay safe.
