Au Pair Experience Home > New Orleans

Washington, DC to New Orleans: Here and There

Announcement: April 14, 2020:
In order to reflect CUNY's decision to hold distance-learning courses through the summer, Learning Across America will be continuing in an online format through June 30, 2020. Any classes posted through June 30, 2020 will not be held in person or on location. Online courses will be held for the same number of credits as our in-person option. Please email us with questions at learningacrossamerica@bmcc.cuny.edu.

Updated Course Information WS20:

Learning Across America has moved all courses through June 30, 2020 to a live online format due to COVID-19. Using this format, students can still attend class from their laptop, tablet, or smartphone at the convenience of their own home. We understand the disappointment of not being able to visit the city of your study, but our Learning Across America teachers have worked very hard to make the curriculum engaging and rich in this new format, and students have been responding very positively!

CREDIT HOURS
Your credit hours will remain unaffected. Once you have successfully completed the course and submitted your final project, you will receive a CERTIFICATE via email stating you have earned CREDIT for 72 hours or 7.2 CEUs (Continuing Education Units).

AUTOMATIC PARTIAL REFUND FOR STUDENTS

Course Price: $500

Since we are moving to an online format, your full tuition is now $500. If you have already signed up for a class, you will receive an automatic partial refund within 1 week of your first class date. Our travel partner Cultural Hi-Ways will be in touch with you to complete partial refunds. Please note that it may take 2-4 business days for the money to appear back in your account.
