Welcome to Learning Across America! We are a BMCC Continuing Education Program for Au Pairs. > Learning Express: One-Weekend Courses > Chicago - Express

Chicago - Express

Students will explore the influence of Chicago's diverse population on the art scene. Both in the classroom and out in the city, class will explore art and sculpture in the Pilsen neighborhood, Humbolt Park, as well as the DuSable Museum of African American History. This class is designed for students already familiar with Chicago, but au pairs from outside of the area are welcome, too!

Please note:

1. The cost of your accommodations and airfare to/from Chicago is NOT included in the cost of the course.

2. Cancellation Policy for the Learning Express program is necessarily different from other Learning Across America courses. If tuition includes accommodations, students must cancel 31 days before the first class date by emailing BMCC at learningacrossamerica@bmcc.cuny.edu. IF TUITION DOES NOT INCLUDE ACCOMMODATIONS, students are entitled to a full refund if requested up to two days before class starts. Requests for refund should be sent to learningacrossamerica@bmcc.cuny.edu.

3. When you have successfully completed the course (attended class, done the pre and post-assignments and homework and fully participated in the course) you will receive credit for 36 hours or 3.6 CEUs (Continuing Education Units). We will email your certificate to you.
