Then, lace up your walking shoes for the two field trips!
On Saturday, visit the highlights of the National Mall and many of the monuments, memorials, gardens, and museums, that are part of it. You will also see the White House and the US Capitol building. There are so many stories!
On Sunday, you will explore one of DC’s vibrant neighborhoods – either Capitol Hill or Dupont Circle - where you will see historic homes, walk-in alleys, enjoy murals, and hear stories about the people who created these places, historic events that took place there and find out fun facts all along the way.
By the end of the last day, you will want to come back and explore even more!
