Insurance Planning and Risk Management   

Survey of risk management, primarily in the areas of life, health, casualty and liability insurance. Includes analysis of risk exposure, evaluation techniques for various insurance plans, and contract selection criteria from a cost-benefit standpoint. The candidate is introduced to the basic insurance contract and practical insurance checklists and to the principles of taxation as related to insurance premiums and benefits. The role of insurance in retirement and estate planning is also discussed. Advisory services, 36 NYS CPE credits
