Microsoft Office is the most widely used office productivity software in the business world. This course introduces Office on Microsoft Windows systems and serves as preparation for specialized training in Office. (Mac users are directed to PCW 91 Microsoft Office Essentials for the Mac for a comparable class.) The primary Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and their functions are introduced. Common features such as the ribbon, task and command groups, the “backstage view,” and the Quick Access toolbar will be covered.
