Week 1: June 8 - June 11   

In this course, children explore how everyday salt can transform simple watercolor paintings into stunning works of art. By sprinkling and layering different types of salt, young artists will discover exciting textures and eye-catching effects as the colors spread and shift. Through hands-on exploration, children will unleash their creativity, experiment freely, and turn their imagination into one-of-a-kind watercolor masterpieces.

Students will use problem-solving skills and creativity to design 3D crafts and eye-catching pop-up art. Through hands-on exploration, they’ll plan, fold, cut, and construct their ideas into imaginative creations. This fun, tactile process strengthens fine motor skills, encourages focus, and provides a relaxing, stress‑relieving creative outlet. Along the way, students will learn how to turn design concepts into finished projects while confidently expressing themselves through art.

Create fun badges, bracelets, and paper hats that show off your personal style! Kids experiment with patterns, colors, and text to design unique wearable pieces. They'll explore how to combine creativity with fashion in hands-on projects. At the end of class, everyone struts their creations in a playful fashion walk. It's a fun way to celebrate imagination and design, and to add on to this, students will cut and combine old clothes with possible dye and super glue. 

Kids will design bold, eye‑catching posters by experimenting with color, contrast, images, and powerful, catchy messages. Whether they’re promoting a cause they believe in or an event they’re excited about, students will learn how design choices influence attention and impact. The experience wraps up with a mini showcase, where they can proudly display their work and see their creative ideas come to life.

Students will learn the principles of perspective and depth by creating three‑dimensional environments using paper‑folding techniques. As they design landscapes and habitats inspired by nature, ecosystems, or imagined future worlds, they’ll blend realistic environmental elements with fantasy or surreal features. This project encourages students to think about their relationship with the natural world while stretching their imagination, building spatial awareness, and expressing environmental ideas through creative, hands‑on artmaking.

Along the way, they will explore kitchen basics, teamwork, and a sprinkle of food science—all while whipping up smiles and tasty creations. It’s a sweet adventure full of creativity, collaboration, and maybe a little floury mess!

In this exciting 4-day class, students will become young entrepreneurs by creating their own mini business from start to finish! Through fun, hands-on activities, kids will brainstorm ideas, design products, and learn how to “sell” their creations. Students will explore basic business skills like creativity, teamwork, money basics, and problem-solving—all in a playful and age-appropriate way. By the end of the class, each group will launch their own small business and participate in a fun “Market Day”, where they showcase and present what they created.

Whether you want to pass down a family legend or make one up, interview friends or talk about interesting things with experts, start by learning how to put together a podcast using SoundTrap. Students will learn how to record and mix audio sources, plan a project, and communicate an idea using a collage of sound.

This fun and engaging music class introduces young students to the basics of music through singing, movement, and games. Children will learn about rhythm, pitch, and using their voices while building confidence and learning how to sing together as a group. The class focuses on joyful music-making, listening, and creativity in a supportive and encouraging environment

Not sure what instrument you’re going to start learning next fall? Let’s get prepared for any instrument by working on singing, pitch, and rhythm. Learning how to hear a musical note in your head and make that sound is a great way to deepen your relationship with any instrument. We will focus on solfege ( the note names ), intervals ( distance between notes ) and get an intro to reading music notation. 

Broadway Bootcamp is a four-day musical theatre workshop designed to build confidence on a stage and introduce students to the fundamentals of Musical Theatre performance. Participants will develop skills in singing, acting and dancing while learning numbers from popular musicals. This camp emphasizes teamwork, creativity, technique, and confidence-building while preparing students for a final performance. No prior experience is necessary, just a willingness to sing, move, and have fun!

As they record their journey through drawings, maps, writing, or journals, students will document their discoveries and share personal reflections. This engaging experience builds curiosity, observation skills, and creativity while helping students bring their travels to life—no passport required!
