*Course Location: Shoot-N-Iron, 17205 Gaddy Rd, Shawnee, OK 74801 Books included in the cost of course. Phase IV Firearms Training is required for all persons who want to become a licensed, armed security officer. Firearms usage will be conducted off campus at a CLEET certified range, evaluated and supervised by a CLEET instructor.

Pre-Requisites: Must be at least 21 years of age and meet CLEET eligibility requirements. Each student must attend 100% of this class to complete the training. Valid MMPI completed within the last 6 months.

Students are required to furnish their own:  

• .38, .40, .45 or 9mm handgun or revolver 

• 2 magazine or cylinder minimum  

• Magazine or speed loader pouches 

• Belt and holster (must fit on belt, no cross draw) 

• 400 rounds of ammunition (reloaded ammo is not allowed in this course). 

"Approximately two hundred workplace fatalities occur every year, which can be directly attributed to the improper use of a forklift. This course teaches the fundamentals of safe and proper forklift operation and addresses all relevant regulatory requirements. The comprehensive curriculum is designed for both new and experienced lift truck operators. If you are an experienced operator, this course will help you fine tune your operating skills and refresh your understanding of safe operating procedures. Since this is not a lecture based course, your participation throughout will be important to a positive out-come. A passing score is required on both written and practical operation tests to successfully complete the class. *FEDERAL LAW REGULATION Physical size may limit some forklift operators from operating specific forklifts. This is due to federal law regulation ANSI B56 5.2.4 which states an operator cannot have any body parts outside the operator compartment. To ensure safer operation, a forklift operator must fit within the confines of the equipment."

This course is designed to cover basic welding skills for home use and hobby purposes. Safe use of equipment is emphasized. Students will receive basic instruction and participate in hands-on experiences using oxyfuel welding, cutting, and shielded metal arc welding and gas metal arc welding (MIG). Students are allowed to bring some small home projects to class to work on, with instructor approval.
