How Community Theatre Productions Work: An Introduction    NEW!

As lights dim for the start of a play, there is a collective sigh of relief from the production crew–the show will go on! Join Mary Britt, executive director of Ocala Civic Theatre, as she gives an overview of how to keep the applause coming in community theatre. How are plays chosen? What are casting calls like? Who makes the costumes? What makes a great set? How do you manage the budget to maintain a theatre? This is an introduction to a multi-part series of more detailed courses on theatre productions. Meet at Ocala Civic Theatre, 4337 E. Silver Springs Blvd.
