Using Google Drive & Google Apps   NEW!

This workshop will introduce you to Google Drive (and the associated apps) and help you get started using it to share documents with family, friends, and co-workers. Google Drive is one of the most popular cloud storage services today and is used by many large and small companies, schools, and universities. Google Drive is a free service that allows you to store files online (up to 15GB) and access them anywhere using the cloud. Google Drive includes free web-based applications for creating documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and more. These applications will be familiar to anyone that has used Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.). Anyone with a Google account automatically has a Google Drive account. Workshops are a mixture of slides, demonstrations, and exercises. Class participants will be provided with links to a variety of useful resources and tutorials.
