About Boating Safely  

Obtain your Boating Safety Certificate offered by the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary through this one-day boating safely course. Text and other handouts are provided. Upon course completion, students will receive an ID card from the CGAUX and the State of Florida.

This course covers types of boats, operating boats, legal requirements, navigation rules/aids, anchoring, trailering, lines and knots. Students must fill out a registration card required by the State of Florida in order to receive their ID card and certificate of completion. Students can bring a lunch or purchase one at the nearby deli.
