|Grant Me the Ability to Write a Grant
This course is available to individuals, particularly volunteers, who work for small clubs, churches and organizations. Join Gerry Brent to learn how to write small grants for organizations such as Target and WalMart, to obtain funds to further your mission. This course will cover the basics such as what a funder is looking for and how to position the need for optimum funding.
Objective: Students learn what a grant is, how to apply for small grants effectively, and where to find grant funding opportunities. By the end of the program, students will know all of the elements of a grant application and be able to write a small grant application.
Prerequisites: Students must be computer literate and have a focus on social good.
