Surviving Summers In Central Florida   NEW!

Central Florida is your home now year round, and you may dread those hot summers. Yet, it can be as pleasant here as other places. True, you may go from an air-conditioned house to an air-conditioned car to another air-conditioned building. But there is still great fun outdoors- if you take care. This presentation will focus how to have fun in Central Florida now that you are here in the summer. We will look at how to avoid handle bites- those pesky mosquitoes, yellow jackets, black flies, ticks- and avoid other critters such as snakes. We will look at prevention and other heat-related conditions. You may want to go to the beach- how do you safely avoid unsafe conditions. We will end with the danger of mold in your house and how to avoid. You may have ideas and questions- bring them along for a discussion with this long-time Marion County resident- a survivor of 65 Florida summers.
