|Find the Great in Every Girl, PACE Center for Girls
PACE, which stands for Practical Academic and Cultural Education, is a nonprofit organization that helps at-risk girls, ages 12 to 18. In 2001, when it first opened in Marion, the center served 40 girls.
Today, the center serves 60 girls, who take classes and get counseling at the center. PACE's mission is to provide girls and young women an opportunity for a better future through education, counseling, training and advocacy. PACE helps girls and young women to find their voices, achieve their potential and celebrate a life defined by responsibility, dignity, serenity and grace.
