Read, Think and Discuss Book Group Term 2   

Limited to 12 participants, this group will choose books that have something to say--make us think--and promote a spirited discussion. Much like the Humanists group and Socrates Cafe, this class is intended to challenge with the goal of understanding others and ideas better.

 

This semester's books:
-July: Take Hold of Our History: "Make America Radical Again," Harvey Kaye
-August & September: Evil Geniuses: "The Unmaking of America," Kurt Anderson
-October & November: "The Power Worshippers: Inside the Dangerous Rise of Religious Nationalism," Katherine Stewart
-December: "How to Do Nothing: Resisting the Attention Economy" Jenny O'Dell
