Portrait Photography    NEW!

If you’ve ever wondered why there are Landscape photographers, Portrait and Action photographers, the difference is in the camera apps and techniques used, and, of course, the creativity in the mind of the photographer pressing that shutter button. There are very special techniques and approaches used for different subjects/events being photographed. In a portrait photo, the photographer can decide whether to use natural or ‘devised” lighting, backdrops, clothing, and, of course, a pose that expresses the desired mood. The settings and the apps that they use are very specific to a portrait photo. Whether shooting outdoors or in, shooting a moving subject or posed, most of the rules for a great portrait shot, remain the same. In these two, one and a half hour classes we will demonstrate and practice the necessary techniques for getting the very best portrait photo every time.

Note: Please bring your camera or smart phone to class.
