Childhood Education Phase 1   

The Phase-1 microcredential in Childhood Education consist of a designated sequence of three-credit courses designed for current and future Teaching Assistants who are interested in developing the skills and knowledge necessary to advance across the three Teaching Assistant levels designated by New York State.

In Phase-1, students will complete the following courses:      

  • ED 151 (1 credit)
  • ED 150 (3 credits)
  • PY 101 (3 credits)
  • EN 101 (3 credits)
