Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)   

Please only register for one Fast Track heathcare section.

Nurse aides are the vital link between patients, RNs, and doctors. Get New York State-certified with this accelerated 120 hour course that combines 90 hours of classroom and lab instruction with 30 supervised clinical hours of training. Upon successful completion of the program students are registered for and take the NYS certification exam.

Training/employment requirements: Successfully pass a criminal background check, pass two English reading comprehension tests and all students must submit proof of immunization records showing two MMR doses, a completed physical, and negative TB test results within 12 months of class start date.

    Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm

    A mandatory 25 hour healthcare specficic workplace success training is included for all registrants to help improve the soft skills of employees entering or re-entering the workforce. Workplace success topics include communication, motivation, responsibility, teamwork, problem solving, working under pressure, time management and flexibility. All participants will also receive AHA CPR BLS training.

    Workplace Success: August 13, 14, 15, 20, 21
    CNA class/lab: August 13 - October 2
    CNA on-site clinical: October 3, 8, 9, 10, 15, 16

    Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 9:00 am - 2:30 pm

    CNA classroom/lab, 90 hrs: August 26 – September 25
    CNA on-site clinical, 30 hrs: September 26, 30 and October 1, 2, 3, 7

    No class September 2

    Tuesday and Thursday, 3:00 pm - 8:30 pm
