Fundamentals of 3D Modeling in Blender

Wonder what your drawings would look like in 3D? Students will learn the fundamentals of 3D modeling using the professional, free and open source software, Blender, to transform their drawings into three dimensional characters. As the foundation of everything in 3D graphics, modeling is a fun and highly valuable skill. Exploration of this technical and creative skill is a window into a computer graphics career designing models and characters for movies, advertising, and video games! A presentation for friends and families during the final hour of the course will create an opportunity for students who wish to present their 3D characters to share what they created and learned. For more fun in Blender also see course: 3D Animation Basics.
