    This is an eight-hour course that must be completed within 12 months from completion of the eight-hour pre-assignment course for Security Guards, and annually thereafter. The course is structured to provide the student with updated and enhanced information on the duties and responsibilities of a security guard. Topics include the role of the security guard, legal powers and limitations, emergency situations, communications and public relations, access control, and ethics and conduct.

By looking at emails, operating systems, social media, cell phones, and apps, together we can enter the 21st century! This course is the perfect opportunity to brush up on computer and smartphone basics, with extra time built in toward the end of class to just ask questions! Ask the instructor any questions you have about your technology problems.

We will briefly talk about the basics of baking cookies and offer tips and tricks of the trade, but then we'll move right into the world of decorating. There will be hands-on lessons on various decorating techniques. You’ll create a variety of designs to bring home at the end of class. Ages 12+.

  • The class tuition is $1,500 but is currently free to enrollees who qualify for Fast Track funding.The 60 hour, in-person Dental Assistant program prepares students for entry-level positions in one of the fastest growing healthcare professions. With the national increase in healthcare-related services, and the national shortage of healthcare professionals, the need for dental assistants is growing substantially. With a growing workforce over 300,000 strong, a career in dental assisting ranks as the fourth fastest growing occupation in the healthcare technician field. The program prepares learners for entry-level positions as a chair-side dental assistant. This program covers the history of dentistry, introduction to the dental office, the legal aspects of dentistry, introduction to oral anatomy, dental operatory, introduction to tooth structure (primary and permanent teeth), the oral cavity; and other areas. The purpose of this program is to familiarize learners with all areas of administrative and clinical dental assisting focusing on the responsibilities required to function as an assistant in a dental practice.
