Have you heard about Zentangle? This mesmerizing drawing trend uses ink pens and patterns to create “zen”ful “tangle”d drawings, or little abstract drawings. You can leave the creation in simple black and white or add any color media you want. At each session, we’ll try out different patterns and learn to make our own, as well as you environmental clues to inspire original drawings. Celebrate the holidays with a vibrant burst of San Antonio culture! Students will paint bright Holiday ornaments embellished with "papel picado" patterns. This workshop focuses on the use of colors to create a joyful, festive composition that honors local traditions.

Pick up your paint brushes and have some fun with a different type of paint- gouache. Like watercolor but with stronger pigments, this paint is available in tubes and pans. It can produce both soft and solid, vibrant looks. Cleanup is a breeze with water.
