Due to the overwhelming popularity of our Gemstones and Lapidary Arts program, registration will now be conducted ONLINE ONLY on the first day of open registration (4/13/26), moving to phone or walk-in registration afterward. Registration will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Please be aware that space is extremely limited, with only 8 seats available in each class. While we take every precaution to prevent over-enrollment, technical errors can occasionally occur. This course is intended for beginning and advanced students. Beginning students learn the art of lapidary, cutting and polishing gemstones that can be used to make beautiful jewelry. Using diamond-based lapidary equipment, each participant will make 2-3 finished gemstones. No prior experience is required. Advanced students are those that have taken this course before and will, therefore, require less supervision. They will be allowed to work with a larger range of and more challenging lapidary materials. Special thanks goes to The Southwest Gem and Mineral Society in San Antonio for supplying the lapidary equipment used in the class. This program is priced as marked; no additional discounts apply.

If you have previously participated in our lapidary program, your registration is subject to cancellation.
