This series of classes covers hemming, resizing your garments, and menging & embellishing. Learn to bring in a jeans waistband if it gapes in the back, add darts to adjust the fit of a boxy top, replace a broken zipper, and MUCH more! Ages 16 and up.

In this free class we will navigate you through the mysterious landscape of a sewing pattern. We will explain sewing symbols and common sewing terminology to help you better understand how to follow written instructions to complete a future project. Students are able to bring their own pattern, or we can provide a studio copy to be used only during the class. NOTE: This class will not cover use of a sewing machine or any sewing techniques.
