    Please bring one skein of #4 worsted medium-weight yarn in any light solid color (no variegated), a size I (5.5mm) crochet hook, and scissors. Optional: 3 skeins of coordinating colors. Suggested Yarns: Red Heart Super Saver (Joann’s or Walmart), Big Twist Value (Joann’s), Mainstay 100% Acrylic (Walmart), I Love This Yarn (Hobby Lobby), Yarn Bee Soft and Sleek (Hobby Lobby).     This class is perfect for anyone with basic crochet skills and wanting to improve your techniques. The class is led by an experienced instructor, Rebeca Grieco, and it’s all about practicing and perfecting your crochet skills. You can bring any crochet project you are currently working on and spend a few hours with the group having fun while getting support from the teacher and other students. It is a great opportunity to meet fellow crochet enthusiasts, exchange ideas and learn new techniques. Adult learners age 18+ are welcome.

    Have you ever wanted to make leather goods, but were afraid to try? This class is for you! In this Leathercrafting 101 class you will learn skills and techniques such as the different types of leather, how to buy leather, leather selection for projects, basic tools, working with patterns, cutting, hand sewing, riveting, and basic finishing techniques broken down into elements that are easy to understand and apply to a variety of future projects. Each student will practice these skills with several small projects perfect for daily use.

    A $35 cash materials fee is payable to the instructor on the first day of class.

    "Sew & Steady" is a relaxed-pace series in which we take it slowly, dive into the zen of sewing, and enjoy the satisfaction of completing a project within your class time-- no homework! Our experienced and enthusiastic instructors will guide you through each step of the project, sewing right along with you to show you in real time how to tackle your sewing. You will also learn how to troubleshoot any sewing problems you might encounter either with the project itself, or with your sewing machine. This way you never feel like you are going it alone! Materials provided for the pajama shorts, blouse and messenger bag, or bring your favorite fabrics! Pajama pants fabric is not included. LEVEL 1: Requires Sewing 101 or prior sewing machine experience
