In this hands-on lab, homeschoolers will dissect a real mammal heart with each student examining their own specimen. We learn what the heart is, its function in the body, locate the internal parts and learn about their structures. Students will also learn how the tissues and organs are interrelated. Proper safety procedures will be explained and followed. All necessary equipment will be provided and included with materials fees.
$20 cash material fee due to instructor at beginning of class which includes the dissection kit.
