Parent & Me: Intro to Basic Fishing

Come and enjoy a fun hands-on fishing clinic for ages 6 to 15. Students will learn the basics of fishing, including stewardship of the land, first aid and safety. Knot tying, casting, tackle identification, rigging and backyard fishing will also be covered. At completion of the clinic, each child will receive a goody bag to include educational materials: "How To" book, Fresh & Salt Water ID cards, regulation book and other surprises. Each child will also receive a pin and a Texas Park & Wildlife Department Certificate. Comfortable clothing and shoes are encouraged. Children must be accompanied by an adult (over 16).
