    In Snapology’s Robot Sport Challenge program, students will build and program robots to compete in sports-themed challenges! Your child will expand their engineering skills by designing and experimenting with robotic attachments and refine their computer programming abilities by creating program codes that make their bots run races, play hockey, and so much more. Students will work in groups and use LEGO SPIKE Prime technology to complete these exciting challenges. All equipment provided by Snapology.

    Travel back in time in Texas’ history and explore our land, waterways and historic buildings as a scientist! Put on your archaeologist hat and “dig” for artifacts that give clues about the time period they came from and people who lived here before us. Learn about the irrigation system that once cris-crossed 70 miles of our city and helped feed Mission residents. Use math to recreate 1800s quilt patterns and shapes. Brainstorm ways save our local limestone structures for future generations. Get ready for some fun, hands-on learning about S.T.E.A.M. concepts (Science-TechnologyEngineering-Art-Math)!

    Calling all amateur architects and builders! Join us for a fun camp filled with S.T.E.A.M. (science- technology- engineering- art-math) projects inspired by Iggy Peck, kid architect, from Andrea Beaty & David Roberts’ beloved ‘Questioneers’ book series. Imagine, doodle, draw, design, and build with us! Class fee includes all project supplies and a daily snack.

    A full week of making, tinkering, building and playing! Using a variety of tools and materials, they will explore circuits and electricity. Campers will construct dc motors and explore their power by making their own propeller cars, robots and more. Using the principles of engineering, camp goers will learn how to imagine, design, create, and build.

     


    A $20 cash supply fee is due to the instructor at the beginning on the first day of class

    Calling all demi-gods! Join us for an epic week of S.T.E.A.M. (Science-Technology-Engineering-Art-Math) adventures inspired by the Percy Jackson book series. Rick Riordan’s stories of gods, mosters & demi-god heroes jump off the page and into activities such as the physics of archery, creating the fire of Prometheus, and engineering a ‘super-monster’ for Percy to battle! Class fee includes all supplies & a daily snack.


    A cash supply fee of $30 is payable to the instructor on the first day of class & includes camp shirt.

In Snapology’s Amusement Park Engineering class, students will become engineers of their own amusement park rides using LEGO technic elements and power functions and they will learn the core physics and engineering concepts used to make a ride thrilling!

In Snapology’s Amusement Park Engineering class, students will become engineers of their own amusement park rides using LEGO technic elements and power functions and they will learn the core physics and engineering concepts used to make a ride thrilling!

In this technical program, children will work in teams to learn the fundamentals of stop motion animation and develop their own animated movie using LEGO® bricks and mini figures as their medium! Students will go through the entire movie making process with their filming partner, from plot development and set design to detailed visual and audio editing. The best part, their movie link will be shared with families at the end of the week for everyone to enjoy! All equipment is provided by Snapology.
