Intermediate Photography: Seeing in Black & White   

This course in B/W photography will explore the connection between the basic design elements of line, shape, texture, and depth.  By learning to see and compose with shades gray one can use light to create a range of tones and values.  Simplicity and minimalism will be emphasized.  Tripod required.  Class includes two Sunday morning field trips (details given in class).  Instructor’s work has appeared in National Geographic publications.  See Textbook and Supply List for textbook information.
