A Regional Tour of Scotch Whisky  

Learn about the most legendary whisky in the world, as you taste Scotches from the Highlands, Lowlands, Speyside, Islay, Campbeltown and the Islands. We'll explore the diversity of Scotland's whisky traditions, along with the history of Scotch, how it's made, and how to fully appreciate it. Taught by Christopher Gronbeck, owner of The Barrel Thief. Students must be 21 or older; picture ID required. Please eat before you come to class. A $20 materials fee is due to instructor in class. Class meets off campus at The Barrel Thief Wine & Whiskey Bar in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle, 3417 Evanston Ave. N. #102.
