Advanced Ceramics

More clay, more ceramics savvy. Enhance your wheel-throwing and hand-building skills with more challenging forms, participate in group critiques, and learn more about the ceramics process (e.g., loading, firing, and glazes). Class will be structured around projects or themes each quarter and will include weekly demos. Previous ceramics instruction is required. See Textbooks and Supplies for supply list. Access is limited. Price includes lab fee and four hours of open studio time. Additional open studio time can be purchased by enrolling in the Ceramics Open Studio Class.
