Phlebotomy: Basic Blood Collection Techniques  

This program is designed as a complimentary course for healthcare students who wish to learn basic blood collection skills and for practitioners who are responsible for blood or specimen collections. It consists of laboratory training by professional laboratory personnel and develops skills for basic blood drawing, whether for healthcare professionals or those wishing to learn phlebotomy skills as a complement to additional laboratory training. This program requires independent learning and does not include an externship. Initial 2-hour Zoom class presents preparatory material.   • First class is a 2-hour Zoom class. A $50 (approximately) materials fee is due to the instructor on first day of class. Exact cash only.


  • Class payments will be delayed, but you will be considered registered (unless you are added to the waitlist) for a class even though payment is not complete. Payment will be completed by March 8 and might show up on a later statement.
