Watching the Black Experience    NEW!

Examine American history, politics, and culture through the lens of Black filmmakers. Class lectures will be supported by clips from features, television episodes, documentaries, short news and magazine segments. Each week students are expected to watch films that introduce and explore the following week's topic, which will be discussed and analyzed in class. Some film rental fees may apply.
