Fall Birds of Puget Sound Lowlands   

Fall and early winter are a rich time for the world of birds in the Puget Sound region. Waterfowl return to sheltered waters of the sound. Winter residents take up territories in the forests. Individual species group together in mixed feeding flocks. Learn how to identify species, appreciate behaviors and discover the best places to bird throughout the Puget Sound lowlands during this optimal season. Class meets Thursday, November 5 6:30-9:00pm and on Saturday November 7 for a full day field trip to the Kitsap Peninsula (location subject to change).
