Birding by Ear   

Discover the hidden world of bird language where identification, behavior and music come alive. This class will explore the use of bird songs and calls as a form of identification of bird species. We will introduce tools, apps and methods of learning birding by ear and then practice these skills during two field trips to diverse parks where theory becomes reality.

  • This class includes two (2) field trips on both April 23, and May 2 from 7:30AM to 12:30PM to practice your new birding skills. Students are responsible for their own transportation to and from the field trips. Additional details will be discussed in class.
