Introduction to Feng Shui

This course is a very brief introduction where participants will learn about the underpinning elements of Feng Shui principles, such as Tai Ji, trigrams, He Tu, Lo Shu, I Jing, five elements, heavenly stems and earthly branches and more. The whole class will be conducted with an emphasis on science and logic. We will learn how to ensure a clear pathway for energy and people to move around your home, and how to use symbolism to support your goal. Feng Shui was the ancient Chinese school of study and practice of architecture. Almost all constructions in ancient China were site-selected, designed, and built according to Feng Shui rules. Since the 1960's, the study of Feng Shui has become popular in the Western world with lots of books published in English and other languages.
