Course Description:
Length of Course: 4-hours
The Basic Life Support (BLS) course teaches healthcare professionals essential skills in CPR, AED use, and relieving choking in a safe, timely, and effective manner. Participants will learn how to perform high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations, and integrate advanced airway management. This course is designed to enhance the ability to recognize and respond to life-threatening emergencies in a variety of settings.
Successful completion of this course will confer an AHA BLS Provider card.
Textbook requirement:
- In order to attend this course, the learner must purchase the current AHA BLS provider manual before the course. Any learner not in possession of the manual at the start of class will not be permitted to attend the course, and no refund will be provided to the enrollee.
