Course Description
This course will serve as a final synthesis for students seeking additional time to prepare for the ASATT NCE exam. The course offers the learner open discussion, focused review, and mock examinations.
Course Student Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of ACE-2313 Introductory Fundamentals of Anesthesia Technology, the learner will demonstrate competencies related to providing competent anesthesia technology services. To do so, the learner will be able to:
1. Apply all concepts learned in the ATB program and AAS program.
2. Demonstrate cognitive abilities via mock examinations
3. Apply theoretical knowledge of the role of the certified anesthesia technologist in all patient care environments.
4. Prepare for the ASATT certification exam.
*The completion of this class does not confer a guarantee that the learner will successfully pass the NCE exam.
**This course is an optional course and will require an additional fee of $300 to complete.
***ACE-2313 NCE Exam Board Preparation is an optional class for individuals who completed the OCCC Anesthesia Technology Continuing Education Program. The prerequisite for this course is the successful completion of ACE-1113, ACE-1213, ACE-2113, and ACE-2213. The course is also available to any graduate of the OCCC Anesthesia Technology Program (AAS).
