This virtual, hands-on “studio” class will explore several abstract art styles and approaches used by artists today. You will learn how to apply the design elements and principles--such as line, shape, and color--to produce effective compositions that are visually engaging and cohesive. The course will include basic techniques in water-based media and printmaking, including acrylics and gel plate.
