The National Parks of the United States are protected areas as designated by Congress. Each National Park is unique for its beauty, ecosystems, recreational opportunities, and geology. Explore the history and geology of our nation's National Parks. Each week the course will cover two different National Parks that will include Yellowstone, Great Smoky Mountains, Crater Lake, The Badlands, Arches, Acadia, Petrified Forest, Gettysburg (National Military Park), and many others!
