Heritage of the American Presidency    NEW!

Hailed as hero or villain, genius or bumbler, our U.S. Presidents have been subject to personal pressures and political maneuverings while bearing the weight of the nation on their shoulders. This course will explore the personalities of our American Executive leaders. Images and texts from the vast array of online information resources will be presented to highlight family and homes, readings and writings, amusements and depictions, friends and influences, aspirations, and accomplishments. Class participants will have opportunity for hands-on learning during class sessions and will be encouraged to delve into details of the heritage of a chosen President.  NOTE: A laptop computer is required.
