Movement Improvement   

This course is a movement awareness series designed to free the joints and strengthen the body. The course will include therapeutic yoga and muscular re-education using various movement disciplines. Somatic practices create change by making the brain more intelligent in sensing and controlling the muscles. They are small and non-strenuous. They offer paths to develop new movement habits. Participants should be able to get up and down from the floor. Chairs will be available to assist with this if needed.  

*Required material: Yoga mat, yoga block, rolled-up towel.
