Intelligence Collection - The World's Second Oldest Profession

This course surveys the discipline of intelligence and provides an understanding of how intelligence systems function and contribute to policy-making. The course presents an overview of intelligence methodology, tools, and techniques. Students will engage in an historical overview of intelligence collection, analysis, and operations. This course reviews espionage case studies and the contributions of intelligence operatives from Sir Francis Walsingham to Kim Philby.
