Frank Lloyd Wright: The World's Greatest Architect

Frank Lloyd Wright (1867-1959), one of the best known architects in the world, changed the course of design in the late 19th and 20th century and created some of the most famous iconic buildings. A revolutionary, Wright introduced new concepts of space, room arrangements, form, and design. In his career Wright designed more than a thousand buildings, of which about 580 were built and about 500 still stand. This course will trace Wright's career and his major contributions to world architecture, and will also discuss some of his followers.
