Grandparenting: A Lasting Legacy
NEW!
Contemporary grandparenting differs in significant ways from how we were grandparented, given the widespread fragmentation of families, including geographic separation, divorce, addiction, and altered social principles. Yet the basic need for nurturing relationships with grandparents persists and offers new opportunities. The group will review child development, examine personal options, and look through the eyes of their grandchildren and children, as well as sort out personal needs and hopes.
Required Material
Notebook with photos of children, grandchildren and spouses/partners. Statement of hopes and concerns about grandparenting.
