At Dove Cottage: The Wordsworths (and a Visit from Coleridge)   NEW!

In the period that William Wordsworth lived at Dove Cottage in Grasmere, he wrote many of his best known poems. His sister Dorothy kept a diary which was an influence for other writers including Katherine Mansfield and Philip Larkin. William read it, as well, and used some of those entries for his own poems. Both looked forward to visits from Samuel Taylor Coleridge whose legacy is linked to them. We'll discuss what inspired them and what moves us today. The seminar has a limited enrollment to insure time for discussion and discovery.
