Gentle Yoga takes a slower pace to yoga postures where you can still experience all the benefits of yoga. Classes focus on releasing tension, connecting with the breath and helping students gain strength and flexibility while improving balance and reducing stress. Gentle yoga uses classical postures with slight variations to accommodate all levels of yoga students. Gentle yoga will incorporate both standing and prone positions, requiring students to have the ability to get up from and down to the floor. Note: please have a yoga mat for our practice. Optional items that you may find helpful include a rolled blanket, a couch pillow or a block.
