Using Google maps, participants will explore General Marshall’s life and character. The course will integrate precise locations with significant events in his life. Participants will travel with him from his birthplace in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, through his military and diplomatic careers, to Oslo, Norway, where he received the Nobel Peace Prize. Information presented at each location will provide insights into his personality as well as his outstanding leadership throughout the 20th century.
